Food was good although could have been a little more choice for breakfast. Rooms were comfortable. Staff were great - really friendly and informative of the area.

Cape Tribulation and the Daintree Rainforest is one of the most beatiful things I have ever seen. As soon as you cross the river you enter in a different world. The rainforest is so dense that you feel you are in the jungle. And then the beach is really stunning. Just a shame about the salties. If all of this is not enough, the reef there is just amazing. I wish I could spend a year around there

Many restaurants to choose from to eat.
Many restaurants to choose from to eat. Horse riding was fantastic through the rainforest and onto Myall Beach. Beautiful scenery, clean air you can choose to do as much as you like or as little. Just a beautiful quiet part of the world.

Beautiful place … so peaceful, with so much nature to soak in. We took the ferry over and drove the Bloomfield track up to Cooktown and back along the main highway. Actually saw a cassowary with two chicks. No crocodiles though 😁
We stayed at Cape Trib Beach house, which is right on the beach. Food was great and the accommodation was also really good.

Remember to do a small grocery before heading onto the ferry. There's a Woolworths supermarket in Mossman. But if you forget, there's a small friendly grocer in cape trib.
Obviously pack insect spray, always carry a bottle of water, sunscreen and a hat. The staff at the restaurants and cafes are very welcoming, friendly, food is amazing, and the whole place is a vibe. Very relaxing, lots of adventures and tours. And the scenery is beyond picturesque.

Cape tribulation is a beautiful place to visit and truly relax with the beauty of the magnificent ancient rainforest and the proximity ro the reef and the ability ro go snorkelling and see the stunnig barrier reef.
We drove there which was good as we were able to go to the Daintree discovery centre, and go o amber of boardwalks ,each with their own beauty.
The beaches are stunning .Whilst you can't swim here for safety ,you can still swim at waterholes such as Mason's waterhole.
We were only there one night and could have easily stayed longer.

Loved the icecream shop!
Loved the icecream shop! There are two - we went to the Daintree Icecream shop twice in one day! Cape Trib beach at sunset is magical. We swam at the Masons cafe swimming hole but if you have been to Mossman Gorge I wouldn’t bother. We ate lunch at Thorntons the food was delicious and the view incredible.

Our accomodation was very basic & quite rundown but did the job as an affordable base for Cape Tribulation (compared to other ‘budget’ double rooms in the area). Perfect location, beautiful grounds, easy access to the beach. Great cafe across the road.
I must mention the lovely lady that was on her 1st or 2nd shift in the bar (around the first week of August) as she was really attentive and on the ball when I could see no one was teaching her how this particular venue worked.. Nice girls in reception too.
Staff was very welcoming and friendly, appreciative to have a conversation with you, our room and shared bathroom were both clean, beds were comfy, breakfast at Safari Lodge is very yummy (brekky wraps are the best!) including great coffee. Within walking distance you get convenience store (closing at 5pm), bar, dining restaurant, rainforest walks, beach (do not swim - crocodiles) and lookout points. We will definitely come back.
Honestly we could not have been more impressed. The setting is astonishingly beautiful, the cabins are luxurious and the breakfast is delicious. We thought the bowl of fruit was supposed to last us two days so we were very pleasantly surprised when we got a whole new one the second day! Amazing value, would definitely go back.
· Amazing! Out of the way and a lovely setting! The eco hut meant all sides of your place could be opened up and you could hear animals all day and night! Good separate kitchen with gas grill and cooker! Lovely and helpful family, Andy and Lynette was like a second family. This is the place to go in Daintree rainforest!
Location is excellent - 1/2 way from the ferry to the cape tribulation beaches.
Signage good, parking good, gardens lovely, facilities ok. Some getting a bit tired tho - e.g. blind on door in bad state of repair.
Activities book needs updating as some venues no longer operating due to covid and staff shortages.
We stayed 2 nights at Cape Trib Beach house but needed a week! The location is great and staff very friendly. Places to eat are limited but the restaurant at the beach house was great and we ate every meal there! I would recommend this accommodation and we will stay there again next time!
The location was excellent being very close to Cape Tribulation. Accomodation was a whole house set isolated and alone in a clearing in the middle of the Daintree Rainforest which promoted a feeling of being part of it. Extra large open doors and spacious covered verandah added to this.
It is such a cool place to stay. Outback cooking area, nice communal areas to chill. Great pool.
Plus your in it, this is The Daintree, this is Cape Tribulation, this what you come looking for. Sensational Place to stay.
Cheers, Piers

The highlight of the Epiphyte is Matt - although he was just welcoming the new manager of the Epiphyte while we were there who is equally delightful. Matt arranged a night tour for us, he told us of the best places to explore and how to playpen our days.
Very friendly staff. They gave us a map and good advice about how to use our time in Cape Tribulation. The room and bed were very comfortable. The shared kitchen was a great advantage. It is close to a shop and a cafe. The shared bathrooms were clean.
Location was amazing for exploring Daintree rainforest and Cape Tribulation. The grounds of the hotel were great and we really enjoyed the bar and facilities. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating to all our various needs.
The room was very clean in such natural nature which was great experience to heard the wildlife .I slept so well and the beach was very close of the hostel.
The mobile reception was very good because the tower is just 50Meters away .
My partner and I stayed at the Black Palm for our last two nights in Cape Tribulation and it was beautiful.
The accommodation itself was amazing, with 360* views of the rainforest it felt like we were in our own little world.
This property was stunning and unique. We loved relaxing on the deck in the hammock and listening to the birds. Fresh milk and coffee were supplied which was such a nice bonus. Wonderful base to explore cape tribulation from.
Delightful accomodation overlooking the Daintree rainforest. Coffee and tea brought to our cabin every morning followed by an exotic fruit breakfast. Family owned business who are very lovely and made us feel at home.
The bungalows are right in front of the beach and on the path towards cape tribulation. They are very well equipped and cleaned. The owners are very kind. Also you can park your car right next to the cabin
Fabulous location right across the road from the most beautiful beach. The most incredible sky and sunset and sunrise. The host was welcoming and explained where the best croc-free natural swim spots were.
