My husband and I had a fantastic stay at this modern cottage in Bicheno! We stayed in the Pear cottage. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the attention to detail. The cottage is impeccably clean and stylishly furnished, making it a cozy and inviting space. The heating was excellent, which was a blessing during the chilly evenings. The cottage also smells amazing!
The location is perfect—close to all the local sights and conveniences. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras provided, such as fresh milk, fizzy water, and a lovely bottle of rose. The bathroom is modern and well-equipped, complete with a heated towel rack and luxurious toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, and hand cream.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances we needed, including a coffee machine. These small luxuries made our stay very comfortable and unique. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a charming and well-appointed getaway in Bicheno. We will definitely be back! Best place we've stayed in Tassie!
Beautiful location on a Cliff top overlooking the ocean.
Beautiful location on a Cliff top overlooking the ocean. Lovely one bedroom house well appointed with all facilities and big windows out to the ocean. Plenty of wood for an open fire. Good facilities. We took all of our own food as it is a 6 km drive into the house on a dirt road. Highly recommend

Such a beautiful place to stay.
Such a beautiful place to stay. The blowhole was fantastic, and the sea views spectacular. The little village was charming and the locals were so friendly and helpful. The Lobster Shack is a must go. I enjoyed a bubbly while waiting for my order. Gorgeous views. Would definitely come and stay again - for much longer than last time.

Love Bicheno. It’s quiet and very beautiful. Lovely walks on the beach or rocks. Not suitable if you want a busy night life but good choice of food options and great cafe options. Very easy to get around. Great for a relax or quiet family holiday.

Unfortunately other travellers had advised to go to the lobster shack for a meal which we did but we found this quite pricey and was just loaded with mainly chips. The view from the viewing point at whalers lookout was spectacular
“The House” was spacious, light filled and felt like a home rather than holiday accomodation. The master suite was very large with a couch overlooking the glorious ocean views and a king size comfortable bed with electric blanket. The well equipped kitchen was a joy to cook in. The owner had thoughtfully left a write up,of drives in the area which was extremely helpful. The short walk to the glorious rocky shore was stunning and we even got to see penguins at night. Our time there was a highlight of our trip to Tasmania.
Bicheno by the Bay is an amazing place to stay! We stayed in the pink A Frame called Tea Tree, it had been refurbished in the last couple of years and was really stylish and comfortable! We had fabulous ocean views and the space around us and the other cottages meant we all had great privacy. The staff were very helpful with local information etc. The added bonus was we were situated only 2 minutes walk from the Lobster Shack, fantastic seafood and location on the waterfront. Highly recommended!
Stunning panoramic view of Bicheno township, the sparkling Tasman Sea and blowhole (sea water sprouting high) on the foreshore!
The townhouse is fully equipped with main bedroom/kitchen/living area on first floor). We used the ground floor bedroom while our friends the upstairs bedroom and the consensus was “excellent bed”.
We suggest a periodic “deep clean” program to ensure all visitors continue to enjoy the ambience of this beautiful setting.
Bicheno is a lovely little town close to Coles Bay for taking day cruises. The apartment was nicely styled, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was lovely to have the heater on and the place nice and warm when we arrived. The welcome letter and chocolates were a nice touch. It was great to have a washing machine and clothesline available as we were travelling for a few weeks.
Great location - walking distance to everything in Bicheno. Comfortable size for our family of 4 - like a home away from home. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean with good quality toiletries supplied. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. We also loved having the washer and dryer to get ontop of our washing after travelling for a bit!
The Lookout is a fabulous property. It was so comfortable and welcoming. It is really well appointed and beautifully furnished. The location is stunning, with amazing views from the upper bedroom. It is very private and there is direct access to a section of rocky coastline through the garden.
Easy walk into Bicheno centre as well.
Top marks. Thank you.
We booked this cabin about 5 minutes before we arrived at the location. The manager was friendly and gave some advice on where to go and what to do. Cabin was well set up and once the air-conditioning kicked in, really warm and comfy. Amenities were really good and exceeded my expectations from previous stays in similar 'caravan park cabins'.
The property is beautiful and had all the trimmings of a home away from home…. very comfortable, clean, lovely garden and beautiful view…. a great place to relax and not far from shops, beach and great walks…. we really enjoyed our stay here…. very relaxing and a great start to our trip to Tasmania…. would be very happy to return one day.
Fantastic contained unit, all facilities you could want, great options for a self serve breakfast in room. Never met staff as checked in late but very friendly on phone
Stayed on route around eastern Tasmania for bicheno penguin tour and highly recommend this as alternative or addition to staying in the v pricey freycinet area.
Decent motel. Comfortable beds, good price if with others (my room had space for four people, but I was solo). Fun pub next to it to sit at the bar and chat to the locals. 30 minute drive to Coles Bay and right next to the Bicheno penguin tour.
Clean, bright & fresh and had everything we needed.
Close to the beach and 3 doors down from the pub. Very central. Had a second toilet in the outdoor laundry which was very handy with a family of 6.
The property was located about 8km north of Bicheno (Tasmania), it was quiet and very relaxing. The cottage was clean and well appointed. The breakfast hamper provided was very good.
Location central enough without being in the centre of town. End of the street was penguin walk and beautiful track via the water into town A good standard family run motel.
Great location, very clean and functional. An easy stroll to town and beach. I'm pretty fussy, but I would be very happy to recommend this place to friends and family.
Loved my short stay at the Bicheno Bell. The unit had an amazing view as well as every amenity that I could possibly imagine (thanks for the great breakfast!)
