I drive from Victoria to Brisbane a couple of times a year and this is my third time staying at this hotel. I always stay in room number nine which has a huge bed, nicely stocked fridge, huge gorgeous bathroom, and a massive TV. The room is always immaculate and quiet. It genuinely feels like a much more expensive hotel, so I have no complaints about the price. Always a pleasure to stay here To break up the drive and ensure I will get an To break up the drive and ensure I will get a good night sleep for the next days driving. I will absolutely absolutely stay here again in the future.

The location was simply spectacular. The biggest feature was only having to share a beach with the other properties along it.
The house was very clean when we arrived and the kitchen was very well equiped.
There was plenty of space to park multiple cars and the yard was large enough for a few dogs to run around.
The host, Maria, was very communicative and responsive with questions and issues.

The town is a true hidden gem on the South Coast; I am honestly surprised it wasn't busier.
Bermagui Pizza Take Away had fantastic pizza, so good we had it two nights. Blue Wave Seafood seemed to be the only fish and chip shop in the area open during the Easter Weekend but it was closed for dinner Friday and Sunday which was disappointing.
There were quite a few fishing spots to try and plenty of fish biting.
The only thing that annoyed me was having to leave after only spending 3 days there.

Bermagui is a small town We only had one full day there, 2 nights, which was enough. I believe it is good for fishing if that is what you like. Very pretty. Not much to do there. But not far from Tathra if you have a car. A couple of restaurants which we would have liked to try were not open because we were there Monday/ Tuesday-they opened wed-Sun, or some nice cafes open breakfast and lunch but not dinner.

Our accommodation was amazing value for money...l think we may have got a luxury upgrade as our unit was so lovely, spacious and well equipped.
I loved the attention to detail with free use of bikes to ride too!
The location was a short walk to the local pub and across from the marina.

Hidden gem!
Hidden gem! We couldn’t stay long this trip, but will be back. Swam in the Bermagui Blue Pools and had a lovely time as a family on our last day of travelling down the East Coast before arriving home.

Bermagui is a lovely place and offers beaches, safe swimming places, great shops and amazing views of a working harbour and country surrounds. A new Woolworths supermarket was great to stock up for our stay.

Just a beautiful part of the East Coast!
Just a beautiful part of the East Coast! Rugged shorelines and beautiful beaches; a wonderful harbour and a great place, well-known for world class fishing. A great place for those who love the outdoors :-)
Bermagui is a lovely place
I spent time choosing accommodation and having now seen others I am pleased with my choice. Space was my priority this stay
Communal living comes with some downsides(noise, privacy) but the Anchorage was in quiet location next to river
Stylish interior. Good shower. Same tv as I have so joy of being familiar with remote
Reviews are very subjective:The bed was the one my back liked best on my trip ( 8 venues) but glad I bought my own pillow. Also found the lounge comfortable
The hotel is newly renovated and room was fantastic. The view was amazing from our room and all the kitchen facilities within the room were great as we made dinner and breakfast in room. The croissants/muesli in the room were delicious!! We enjoyed walking the area in both the evening and the morning. Wish we could have stayed longer, as we were just passing through on a road trip, location is spectacular!
The location is fabulous, just the harbour right at the doorstep and lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance. The hotel was really lovely and super comfortable. They provided for everyone including the dogs. The bedding was of a 5 star hotel, super comfy and clean and very inviting and facilities and inclusions were outstanding. Overall an amazing experience, definitely going back.
The Harbourview House had a lovely open, fresh and relaxing atmosphere. We were very comfortable there. Also a great view of the Marina and only a few minutes walk to the Fishermen's Wharf for coffee and dining. Walk the opposite direction and there is a Woolworths, coffee shops and the Beach Hotel - the steak was superb!
Golf club at the end of the side street.
Well set out, relaxing and warm villa with a well appointed kitchen that allowed us to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner easily for us to be self contained. Great location for a relaxing walk. Susie met us and showed us restaurants and sight seeing around Bermagui. Have recommended to friends.
Centrally located and right across the road from the beach. Quiet at night even though the hotel is a hive of activity. Short drive to nearby attractions. Comfortable bed. Off street parking. Yummy complimentary croissants for breakfast. We had a beautiful meal at the adjoining hotel.
Perfect spot for a few days in Bermagui. While there aren't ocean views, it is very well located to the everything. Spacious living area, well equipped kitchen with a nice covered deck overlooking the rear garden. Easy to find, easy parking. Recommended.
Simple and very well kept facility with all the basic needs. Comfortable and cosy, including cost efficiency.
Stunning views of Wallaga Lake + tranquility.
Most important of all - it was a pet friendly cabin so our dog enjoyed herself the most.
The view of the beach from the front rooms. The location which was Main Street of Bermagui made everything easily accessible in town. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The room was spacious, comfortable and more than enough facilities.
A comfortable small home with good views over Bermagui towards the sea. It was light and airy with good facilities, a comfortable bed and close to supermarket, shops and eateries. But best of all it was pet friendly! Thank you for that :)
The presentation was as good as most hotels in Sydney, with added touches to make it feel warm and inviting. The range of facilities offered, per room, were way beyond most comparable accommodation.
A quiet holiday park and only a short drive to beaches and Bermagui. A comfortable drive to other coastal towns. We enjoyed our stay so much that we ended up staying for another 3 nights.
Everything. Good sized cabin . Spectacular views of the lake right in front of us. Short drive to Bermagui for supplies. Barbeque on the deck. Good people
