This room was excellent. Size was spacious, clean, comfortable bed and couch. Kitchenette well set out, bathroom very spacious and the lighting was excellent with additional lights for applying makeup. View was beautiful overlooking the Murray river. Location is ideal for a relaxing stay, wish we could have stayed longer. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Barham and its sister town of Koondrook are in a delightful scenic and historic setting on the Murray River. It has great amenities for a town of its size with hospitality and sporting venues and a pretty good small town shopping centre. I actually much prefer this to the larger busier places along the Murray. The weather is generally pretty good all year round although January and February can be quite warm. The locals are also very welcoming.

I love Barham and am a regular there.
I love Barham and am a regular there. I particularly love the bakery as they do a great value for money breakfast as well as a terrific chicken schnitzel sandwich. Barham has a number of individual shops that are different and not the chain shops you find in the bigger towns. There is plenty of accommodation including Air BNB. It is central to other towns and not too far away from the bigger town of Echuca if you want day trip. ClubBarham is fantastic and welcoming and has a number of different food options so I do recommend Barham for a quieter weekend away.

Barham NSW is a quite but very popular tourist destination...
Barham NSW is a quite but very popular tourist destination on the Murray River adjoining the township of Koondrook Vic. There is a great bakery, pubs, Club Barham, a golf course, and of course the Murray River in all it's glory. The wild life is a real attraction, with fishing, boating, skiing and eating at the local restaurants equally as luring. The locals are always helpful and staff friendly. A great place for family and friends to congregate together and with everything pretty much within walking distance, it is a wonderful place for families to bring young children. I love the rural, farm experience and is a taste of Australia in years gone by.

Loved how close everything was, could walk from the river to the town, accomodation etc within minutes. The locals are very friendly and helpful. Meals at the Barham Hotel were excellent, with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. There were local activities, including a free breakfast for Australia Day (thanks to the Lions Club) and lilo racing on the Murray River to watch. Lots to see and do - will definitely be going back.

Murray river town that exceeded our expectations.
Murray river town that exceeded our expectations. The Services Club was excellent on Saturday night. Food good value and high quality, and entertainment options are plentiful. We didn't use the courtesy bus but it would have been a great option.

Great little town right on the river.
Great little town right on the river. A thriving Club, two pubs, two excellent supermarkets, two good butchers , lots of little gift shops and three wonderful op shops.
Plenty of places to eat, some lovely picnic spots and very friendly locals who love their town.
Twin town Koondrook is also an interesting place.
We have stayed here once before. The rooms have been upgraded. We had a great stay previously, even better this time. Easy check-in and check out. Staff genuinely friendly. Barham Service Club across the road, helps service the motel with check-in. Great food and well-priced drinks.
Late booking at a fantastic price - we didn't have high expectations but the room was excellent. The whole town of Barham is great, Services Club was a hoot on Saturday night. Room has great towels, toiletries and modern equipment, despite being an a older style motel
It is clean, comfortable and well run. The managers are very friendly and always helpful. The location is ideal being right in the heart of Barham therefore close to everything and the proximity to the Murray River adds considerably to its appeal.
