Situated in Phalaborwa, 11 km from Phalaborwa Gate, Masorini Bush Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with an outdoor swimming pool. Natasja was so welcoming when we arrived. She was happy to organise game drives and the boat safari for us and share her tips for the area and give us recommendations for nice restaurants. As two 30-year-old girls traveling together, we felt very safe at the lodge. When we mentioned something was broken in the room, it was fixed straight away. The rooms were perfectly cleaned every day while we were out exploring. The braai and outside kitchen was our favorite thing to come back to, to cook our dinner and relax with a glass of wine watching the sunset and scenery from our little patio. We will definitely recommend the lodge to friends and family and we hope to be back very soon! Thank you :)

With Olifants West Game Reserve reachable in 36 km, MILIMA Big 5 Safari Lodge provides accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared lounge. Milima lodge was an excellent choice. I will never forget the staff, specially our guide and the restaurant staff, for its great passion and constant capacity of making you feel special. The location also has to be mentioned. I remember sitting outside our tent in my pijama and just seeing passing almost all big 5. The food and every meal experience were just AMAZING!!

Perfect location, right next to incredible reserves in greater Kruger. One day we woke up to giraffes right at our doorstep. The owner is absolutely lovely, helpful and attentive to every detail. She helped us arrange all our outings, food orders and everything we asked. The food she made was the most delicious we had in South Africa, even compared to our 5 star JHB hotel. We are vegetarian and have some food allergies and she catered to every need. The room itself is gorgeous with one indoor and one outdoor shower, and one indoor and one outdoor bed to watch the milky way at night and hear the lions roar. Truly magical.

It was wonderful! Such a nice place. They really did a great job. We had a great movie night with popcorn and chocolate. All the food was so delicious We did an adventure game drive and saw a lot of animals. The sunset tour with drinks and snacks was also magnificent Octavia was so kind. She think of everything

Featuring mountain views, Isambane Camp in Balule Game Reserve features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. I stayed for 6 nights and every single day was special! I was looking for something small, private and isolated in contrast to the typical "see the big 5 plans" in order to enjoy what the bush has to offer, and my expectations were absolutely exceeded. The staff is simply amazing. Ed and Ivone are amazing hosts! Ed is an amazing guide and apart from knowing everything about the bush, he really knows how to transfer his knowledge to his guests in a very passionate and genuine way. Ivone is very friendly, helpful and she always wanted to make sure that we were having a good time while we were in the camp. Sibu and Eunita were very sweet and they cooked delicious meals for us! Our last game drive was carried out with Tim who was also very knowledgeable and friendly :) The camp is beautiful and the way it is built respect the environment where is located; somehow open and mainly made of wood. During our game drives we were fortunate to see a lot of game and Ed gave us amazing explanations from a wide range of subjects, apart from sharing his personal experience from his time in the bush, which I really appreciated.

Situated 7 km from Drakensig Golf Club, Ujabule Lodge offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. Beautiful accommodation and as a female solo traveller I felt extremely safe. The hosts were very welcoming and caring and the game drive offered was very informative. Great breakfast too! I can't wait to go back!!

Providing garden views, Tshukudiba Game Lodge in Tom Burke provides accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and barbecue facilities. The place was immaculate and well maintained. Staff were welcoming and very friendly. The shared kitchen is beautiful and well equipped. Whilst we only did a quick stop over before crossing border into Botswana the next morning, I could definitely do an extra night or two to explore the place more next time.
