The property is amazing, really spacious, cleaned everyday to a high standard. It has an amazing outdoor area with a Braai which we enjoyed using. It’s a great base location to visit Addo Elephant park which is an hour away. The lodge is secluded and you feel totally immersed in the beautiful surroundings, we walked in the mornings, saw lots of animals especially at night on the way back to the lodge. Safari’s are also available but we did these in Amakhala so just relaxed in the afternoons. There are a few nice restaurants in the local town if you want to eat out, if not the local spar is good. We were greeted by zebras and ostrich as soon as we entered the grounds - already quite the experience! Our room had amazing views and was very comfortable and clean. We had dinner on the property our first night which was one of our favorite meals of the trip! We did the Addo park, Schotia Safari and a Giraffe walk all by recommendations from Ingrid and we had the perfect trip.

Guests can enjoy swimming at the outdoor pool. we have had an amazing 3-night stay at the Charihandra game lodge. The accommodation was beautiful and the views were stunning. The host also made a booking for a game drive in addo. took us a while to get there but it was worth it. on our second day we had a relaxing day at the pool and the giraffes came out and one of them was even drinking out of the pool- it was an amazing experience. thank you for everything!

Offering panoramic views of the Zuurberg Mountain Range, Camp Figtree by The Oyster Collection features a variety of game drives, safaris and game walks. This location is the perfect couples getaway. All of the rooms are at least 40 meters apart and boast some magnificient views of the Zuurberg mountains. Dinner and drinks prices were more than acceptable and Camp Figtree was the highlight of my month long stay in South Africa. Staff were amazing too and we especially enjoyed our interactions with Siya and Mzi.
