Honestly loved everything about Amala from the buffet breakfast every morning, pricing for food at the hotels restaurant, amenities and the stock provided for our use, daily cleaning, free shuttle buses drop offs and pick ups with times daily, the ability to go above and beyond any requests.

Despite a rating of 3 stars, this hotel is much more in many ways. It's location may be on the verge of Pa Tong Beach but it's still quite accessible without the hum and drum you get in the middle of the town. The rooms are quite spacious and the hotel itself is quite contained given the price. The pools allow for a swim or just a dip depending on your needs and, the decor, albeit not beach huts or the likes but do definitely ring a tone of tropical to them.

beach front , very laid back , I stayed in the bamboo beach hut , which was more like a straw hut , fine for one night , I would stay here again but get a room ! it was a bit like camping in the hut ,

lovely hotel and resort. rooms are small chalet like buildings so you get the privacy. on the doorstep of the beach, good swimming pool. taxi service and shuttle good at the hotel. fairly close to the airport - around 45 mins in a taxi or grab. everything you need is at the resort. they had an animal exhibition 10am to 11am with baby pigs, a tortoise and some birds. the photos on the website don’t do the hotel justice as it is beautiful inside and out
