Făgăraș Fortress is 43 km from Podul De Brazi - Fir Bridge, while Balea Waterfall is 17 km away. The nearest airport is Sibiu International, 55 km from the lodge, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. We stayed one night before we moved forward and we rested very well. The owner is very nice and the place is close to the mountain which makes it perfect for the ones who want to ride Transfăgărășan and enjoy the area. The facility is the well equipped and very clean.

There is a private bathroom with shower in all units, along with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Amazing place in the forest on the Transfagarasan highway (7c). You realize where you are when you see the 3 dogs that they have to make bears stay away from the hotel!!!! The room was very big, very good matress also. A very polite girl was on the hotel's cafe/bar on the main road

The chalet has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with mountain views. Guests can unwind by the fireplace on a cold day or simply enjoy playing some games on the Nintendo Wii. The property has an outdoor dining area. Very nice and clean space, we will definitely come back.

There is also a kitchen in some of the units equipped with a fridge, an oven, and a microwave. second time in location and that is all you need to see. Going here just for the fact that I know that the owner will wait for me even late (as I said at the reservation) and the fact that is clean, large enough, with parking and very well placed to the Transfagarasan (high alpine road)

Located in Arefu, next to the Transfăgărășan Road and 1 km from the Piscu Negru Ski Slope, Cabana Dara offers free barbecue facilities, a terrace and a restaurant. Free parking spaces are available nearby. the room was very nice and cozy. The staff was kind, even if the level of English was not good we managed to communicate.

The air-conditioned chalet consists of 1 separate bedroom, 1 bathroom with free toiletries and a living room. A flat-screen TV is provided. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance.
