Boasting river views, The Sett on The Wharfe provides accommodation with a terrace and a balcony, around 38 km from Royal Hall Theatre. Stayed there for three nights, working remotely until afternoon and then going hiking. There are a lot of nice hikes nearby - including a trail that starts just on the other side of the river. Car is necessary for access and for trails further away, but it's easy to find and has plenty of space to park. There are multiple dining options and a small grocery store just a short walk away. The place itself is lovely - beautiful peaceful location with amazing view, well kept facilities and delicious breakfast with enough options to try something new each morning. You can also meet local wildlife - birds, squirrels and local cats were frequent visitors on the balcony, deer and sheep wandering about in the distance. We also took a dip in the Wharfe, which I highly recommend to everyone who can handle the chilly water!

Set in Horton in Ribblesdale, 47 km from Lancaster, Ribblesdale Pods offers a garden and free WiFi. Absolutely beautiful, we loved everything. So clean and comfortable would highly recommend.

Situated in Hutton le Hole, 17 km from Flamingo Land Theme Park, and Dalby Forest reachable within 24 km, The Crown, Hutton le Hole offers a restaurant, a bar and free WiFi. It is one of the nicest places we have stayed, the staff couldn't have been any nicer, they were so welcoming! We had an 18 month old Labrador with us, she was made such a fuss off, very dog friendly. Food was lovely, it is such a cosy welcoming pub. The accommodation was lovely, nice little hamper left for breakfast and the bed was exceptionally comfortable and big! Great location for walking and visiting other towns near by.

High Parks has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Bedale, 19 km from Lightwater Valley Theme Park. Go here if you like peace & quiet with a touch of quirky! The three huts or lodges are situated within a large area of woodland/parkpland where you can take ample walks and meet lots of wildlife - we had a resident pheasant visit us; matching the pheasant lodge we were staying at. The lodge itself is very spacious and equipped with everything you need - there's a fridge, kettle, heater, TV & DVD player, shower etc. If you need a toaster or microwave, it's available in the hut just next door, but we didn't need any of it during our stay. The place is lovingly decorated with pheasant-themed items; there's lots of books and leaflets about local attractions, restaurants, sights etc. Our host Scott was so kind to text us beforhand, asked for estimated arrival time, gave us directions, looked after our luggage and made sure we had everything we needed, including restaurant recommendations and such. We felt very welcomed here and will definitely return for another stay, as the area and the hut are just beautiful!

Set in 16 acres on the banks of Pickering Beck, in a beautiful, peaceful location in North Yorkshire, this 18th century farmhouse offers attractive self catering accommodation. The photos didn’t do the justice it deserved, one of the best places we ever stayed at. The place is well looked after and a very cozy place. The communication with owners before the stay and during the stay was exceptional. 100% recommend!!!

Boasting garden views, Beckside Lodge features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 22 km from Flamingo Land Theme Park. The owners were helpful and very friendly, the cabin was great with everything you would need, comfy bed and quiet location.

Set 8.3 km from Lightwater Valley Theme Park, Blackberry Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. My wife and I stayed at blackberry lodge for 2 nights. The accommodation was lovely, with everything we needed including an iron/ironing board and hairdryer. Everything you would need in the kitchen with a fridge freezer cooker and microwave. The accommodation was lovely and bright and the host Maxine was so friendly and helpful and we even got to feed the lambs. We will definitely be booking to go back. It was so relaxing looking out on the farm with the horses and chickens. You won’t regret booking.

Keld Spring Lodge Retreat is located in Kirkbymoorside, 27 km from Dalby Forest, 38 km from York Minster, and 38 km from York Railway station. This is such a beautiful place so peaceful And the lodge was such a high standard as expected it met all our needs Will defo be back but for a longer stay Thank you

Sunflower Lodge, Lido Leisure Park, Knaresborough is a recently renovated holiday home in Knaresborough, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden. It ticked all the boxes, as it was the right location for going to Harewood house for Emmerdale tour.
