Located in lovely village, car park conveniently close, could see the Downs from my room, room thoughtfully provided for eg enough electric charging points. Very friendly staff in Bistro.I only have tea and toast for breakfast and I was able to have just that for a very reasonable price. Some places want you to pay for a full cooked breakfast when you only want something small.

I felt so welcomed by every staff member we met. So friendly and helpful. I slept really well and the room was spacious. Parking is very convenient and it’s only a short walk to the castle and lots of restaurants.

Very comfortable bed in a warm and quiet room. Wonderful drench shower. Hotel is in reasonable walking distance of town centre facilities and of course very convenient for the railway station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices were good and portions substantial.

Cheap and conveniently located

Cranston House is a lovely old house. Brian was a welcoming, friendly and informative host. It was clean and comfortable, conveniently situated for an evening meal within walking distance and close enough to Gatwick airport for an early morning flight. I liked that fresh milk was offered as an alternative to the UHT capsules. There is a little fridge in the room. There is also off street parking.

Nice location, a cheap budget hotel, i've paid less for better. Friendly staff. Pool and Sauna were great the rest was very disappointing. OK for a cheap one night stay but I wouldn't return.
