The hosts were really helpful and always reachable within minutes, the location was perfect and because it’s located in a little alley it was very calm. The little garden was also the perfect place to begin your day. 100% recommended.

I loved staying at this homestay. Ram, Raj and the entire family are amazing people. The food at the restaurant is the best I have had during my time in Nepal! This homestay has basic facilities which is reflected in the friendly price. The beds are quite hard, but just ask for more padding and blankets and they will provide you.

Shine Homestay Famille Francophone - Shine Home and Apartment er staðsett í Kathmandu, 2,5 km frá Swayambhu og 2,9 km frá Kathmandu Durbar-torginu. Very helpful hosts that provided me with a lot of recommendations! They weren’t pushy either even though I opted not to do a trek with them. Awesome homestay experience!

Great accommodation in a quiet place, but still close to a main road. Sugat and Roshani are very kind and nice. All was perfect.

Nagarkot Trekkers Inn er staðsett í Nagarkot, í innan við 16 km fjarlægð frá Bhaktapur Durbar-torginu og 25 km frá Boudhanath Stupa. I enjoyed the days with Kishor and his wife so much. They are so friendly, warm, kind and caring. One Day I felt sick and Kishor was so worried. He brought me food and everything that I needed. He took really care of me. It felt like home. He helps you with everything. With the transfer, to organize a hike, to organize food. The food in the homestay is also very good. And everything is fresh from their own garden. He has great varieties in the dinner and is very flexible for whatever you want. In the early morning he wakes you up to see the sunrise (when it is not cloudy). You can the the sunrise from the window of your room. But there are also beautiful views from the garden and the rooftop. The surrounding ist very calm and peacful. You always get a smile from the neighbours. If you want to have some quiet days after some busy days this homestay is perfect. They also have a warm shower and toilet paper. It is getting cold in the night. But the blankets protect you und keep you warm. So, I highly recommend this homestay. I would come back next time in nepal. PS: I have to mention that the last part to come to the homestay is an off road part. I came by car and he has to drive carefully.
