The property is fairly new so all of the accommodations are modern. It also has a stand alone bungalow room, which I stayed in, which is like having one’s own little home! There is a beautiful pool on the property as well. The family that runs the property is great and will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.

All units are fitted with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a fridge, a kettle, a bidet, slippers and a desk. The villa complex features some units that have a balcony and lake view, and every unit is equipped with a private bathroom and a wardrobe. At the villa complex, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Great accommodation. Generous villa with spectacular lake views and abundant wild life on the lake. Whether you stay in bed in the morning or just walk a few steps to your private pool, you can still observe the wildlife on the lake. What a view! And to top it off, great staff and truly delicious cuisine! We've never eaten such good kottu before. They did everything we could think of for us. The price may seem a bit high, but it's worth it!

The host was incredible and truly went above and beyond, he organised everything for us for the safari tour and even drove us to the bus stop. We had a free coconut on check in and a juice on checkout. The room was lovely nd big and clean with great air conditioning. An amazing experience, especially for the price!

Also safari guide was very great experienced with good knowledge guide. we saw many wild animals and Leopard. Owner provided us with tasty dinner from his restaurant. Overall experience was awesome.I'll recommend this hotel to every couple and families:). You wont regret,just be there:)

The staff was very helpful, the garden was exceptionally beautiful and taken care of. The dinner that they prepared for us was delicious, we loved every bit of it.

The owner was very kind, he even took us nearby with his car to watch some crocodiles. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional. He arranged a morning safari for us, with a good driver who explained a lot of things about the animals.

Gayan and his Family are very nice and kind. they do huge amount of dinner for probably double the amount of guests. the food was also very tasty. Gayan also helped us to get to the bus and talked to the driver so he would take our big luggage into the bus. all in all it was a very nice experience and the family is awesome. I would recommend it and enjoy the nature. you can also see water buffalos from your terrace. Gayans brother also does the safari tours and he was also very kind and awesome. thank you very much Gayan if I’ll ever be back I’ll make sure to visit you and your family.

Kele Yala is located just 15 minutes and 7 km away from the Katagamuwa Entrance of Yala National Park, where there is less traffic compared to the main entrance of the National Park. Absolutely beautiful stay - the friendliest staff and the best food we had in all of Sri Lanka. Everything was perfect, they arranged our safaris for us which were fantastic and the staff were so kind with our baby girl. The pool was beautiful and so clean, the rooms were lovely. Honestly can't think of a bad word to say!
