Situated in Negombo, within 600 metres of Wellaweediya Beach and 1.5 km of Negombo Beach, Hotel Blue Bird features accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The family are nice and welcoming after some tuk tuk driver scammed as outside the airport. We stayed for one night as we got to the airport late at night and a tuk tuk rental place was close by as we were headed to Mirissa. The free breakfast in the morning was amazing and the potato curry was delicious!

Very close to airport. transfer to the airport was only a few dollars. comfortable bed, great shower, with very hot water. The room and hotel in general is basic, but they have a common area with a fridge, electric kettle, coffee, tea, cups and basic utensils., not for cooking but enough to have cereal, milk and fruits for breakfast. there is a roof top to seat and get fresh air at night. This is an ideal hotel to spend a day if you need to get to the airport, not for longer stays. I really enjoyed my stay there. Grace, from Denver, Colorado, USA

I thoroughly enjoyed Negombo Nature Villa & Cabanas. It was a perfect place to stay after arriving at 2am from an international flight. It's 25 minutes from the main airport. We were greeted by a lovely lady who helped us settle in, It's family run and is perfect for a night or two to rest. It's a close walk to Negombo Beach (5 minutes) and the hotel also has a small pool to enjoy. I highly recommend - great location, great value, great people!
