Beautiful Yurtel in a great location between the Gullfoss and the Geysir. We were driving the highland road F35 afterwards, so the location was great for our purposes. The Yurtel are very comfortable inside, like a 4* hotel room. There was even a tea cattle with tea bags inside - which is great at the end of the day. The beds are very comfortable. Living among the nature and waking up in the morning and stepping outside for an amazing view to the glacier, the grassland, to the sun standing low is such a wonderful memory for us. There are toiletts and showers near the Yurtel 1, where the breakfast is served. Behind the Yurtel 1 live some wild rabbits, who don't go away - saw them in the evening and in the morning. The breakfast was very nice, there was Skyr, fruit, toast with ham, 3 sorts of marmelade and cheese and I think boiled eggs, and of course coffee and tea. We loved everything about our stay. Also nice that you can visit the Geysir and the Gullfos in the morning, if the wheather was bad last day. On the way to the Yurtel we visited the Secret Lagoon - very nice there, highly recommended, with not so high prices compared to others (50% of the Myvatn Nature baths, and is just as nice or better).

The location is perfect ,near a secret hot spring, the view amazing, rooms comfy and tidy, kitchen has all the necessity, we could have tea and coffee all day, bathrooms very clean, we could also have more pillows which I always need. The apartment features family rooms. Absolutely everything. I think the reviews speaks for itself. lovely welcoming cakes and sweets, lovely place, lovely family, clean, spacious, easy to find, I honestly cannot fault it and already planning to visit again.

Hvammból Guesthouse is a small, family-run guest house situated 10 km from Vík. It offers studio apartments featuring a private entrance and small patio from which guests can enjoy views of the hills and endless sky. Very nice, clean and with beautiful view. The apartment has really anything you need. We enjoyed the view in the sun from the little sitting section on veranda. Our favorite place during our stay in Iceland :)

Very nice place to stay for visiting the golden circle, with a nice hot tub to relax in at the end of the day.

This farm property offers a restaurant, small bar area, lounge and terrace. Public area Wi-Fi and parking are free. Vík town centre is within 20 minutes’ drive, while Skógarfoss Waterfall is even closer. Breakfast was fantastic. Plenty of varieties, good quality food. Refills were prompt and abundant. Room was nice. Even though it's shared toilet and shared bathroom, there were of good quality and cleanliness. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Sufficient car park.
