L'Skútustadir Guesthouse està situat en una granja a la riba sud del llac de Mývatn i ofereix una cuina/saló compartit, vistes a la muntanya i WiFi i aparcament gratuïts. Skutustadir was such a lovely place to stay with my grown children. The atmosphere was incredibly cozy and inviting. The host was kind and accommodating. We had been waylaid 3 times due to road closures and they were incredibly responsive to our needs and rebooked us without penalty, which was a huge relief. (Other properties were certainly not so kind and we lost a fair amount of money on places we never got to stay!) This place was super clean- cleanest we stayed at by far and the breakfast was amazing. I can’t say enough positive about Skutustadir guesthouse. Also, our dinner at the nearby hotel was incredible- their beef lasagne was to die for!!
