My stay at Maher house was an amazing experience. The location is walking distance from Borobudur, a literal 1O minutes. And, in the same area there is a whole street of stores and places to buy food. Maher house is located in the village, which is great because you get to enjoy village life and maybe interact with the friendly locals. Plus, there’s a lot of cool chickens walking around. Maher house was very clean, and it had a very peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast in the morning was made fresh and it was delicious! Yusuf and his wife were great hosts, their main objective is for their guests to be comfortable. Thanks again!

They did everything to make our days at Karimunjawa unforgettable, e.g. we had a great snorkelling trip, scooter rental and the very best breakfast of the island. We loved every single minute of it. Nothing around you, cannot get more relaxing, crystal clear water, fish & coral reef as part of your view. The sound of the water under your feet … it was my husband’s birthday and I wanted something special for him, this was an amazing experience for both. Extremely clean, Bathroom was beautiful and comfortable! The host went far and beyond to help us short notice on the return ticket for the ferry, we will be always thankful for that 🙏.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Indonesia. Our stay at Efata was excellent in all ways, mostly thanks to Ika and his wife who run this accommodation super professionally and made us feel totally at home. Rooms are spacious and clean, the house has a beautiful garden and is located in a quiet side-alley, 300m from Borobudur temple. Breakfast is delicious and you get to choose between continental or traditional, too. Highly recommended.
