Everything, the location was perfect for travel by bus as stop right outside door of B & B and when you have luggage. . . Also, a lovely walk along a babbling brook to town centre was lovely. The care and attention to the accommodation was great along with a yummy breakfast to start the day. Highly recommend.

In addition to our spacious bedroom and private bathroom, we had access to a shared kitchen and cosy lounge - our host had the wood burner lit and ready for us to enjoy.

Lovely quiet location surprisingly easy to find and it felt.very secure. The room was perfect for us and our two spaniels and it was lovely to have a kitchen right next door so we could make breakfast and tea in the morning. There was bread, yogurts and jams left out for us and coffee pods in the room so we couldn't have asked for more for an overnight stay. Having easy access straight out onto the grassed area in the morning was perfect for the dogs and both owners were lovely and friendly when we met them. Definitely will return when visiting the moors or the zoo which was just down the road. Thank you too Debbie for posting hubby's jumper back. You're a super host 😁.

Quiet, lovely staff, great extras like a hot tub, bathrobes, fridge and free parking. Beds were comfy, wifi god and heating worked easily and on a timer. Highly recommend!

Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, Halekulani Devon Homestay is a recently renovated homestay situated in Torquay, 1.5 km from Maidencombe Beach. Anne truly elevated our weekend getaway into a memorable experience. From the moment we stepped into the cottage, we were greeted with an enchanting atmosphere. The room was a delightful surprise for my partner's birthday – meticulously prepared and radiating warmth and light. The bed was a cloud of comfort, and the bathroom, a personal favorite with its captivating charm. What made our stay truly exceptional was Anne's genuine care and attention to every detail. She went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met and even provided a variety of breakfast options that included healthy, vegetarian, and vegan choices. Anne's recommendations for dinner were spot-on, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. The location itself is nothing short of magical, offering breathtaking views, serene countryside surroundings, and a symphony of nature's sounds. It was a perfect weekend escape that left us rejuvenated and grateful. I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem for those seeking a truly special retreat.

Such an overwhelmingly positive and friendly experience that should I ever return to Torquay then there'd no doubt as to where I'd stay. Bravo from a former hotelier.
