Irma is a wonderful host and I had a great stay! There was a little bit of a language barrier, but we easily resolved that with Google Translator. This was my first stop among many through Switzerland and its location is great; very close to train station, accessible hikes for a lifetime, and a great stop before exploring the rest of Switzerland. Irma was also extremely kind providing me with a transport pass for my time there, which was useful taking the train from Boudry to Noiraigue for the hike down the Areuse Gorge (highly recommend this hike). I'll definitely come back if I'm fortunate enough to visit western Switzerland in the future!

Offering barbecue facilities and quiet street view, Ferienwohnung Burg Murten is located in Murten, 27 km from Bern railway station and 28 km from University of Bern. The apartment was exceptionally well appointed and had everything we needed. It was modern and clean, but at the same time felt very homely and comfortable. Whilst we had almost no interaction with the host, the instructions given on arrival were very clear and it was nice to be left to our own devices. The location (on a farm) was good too, being only a shorty 2.5km walk to town.

L'Appartements Vacances Saars 33 està situat a 4 minuts a peu d'un llac i ofereix unitats amb vistes al llac, WiFi gratuïta, un jardí i una terrassa. Large comfortable airy apartment which is well equipped. Fantastic view over Lake Neuchatel, with the entire Swiss alps in distant view. (To get the good view you need to climb up to the property from the garage - probably not suitable for people with limited mobility). Regular bus service to Neuchatel,about 50m from the property. Excellent wi-fi speeds. Hosts on site but unobtrusive.

Built in 1750, the Ofenhaus was originally used for baking bread and is situated next to the owner's farm house 1 km from the centre of Murten. solitude.. been so disappointed with expensive hotels that are simply awful

Surrounded by vineyards, Chambre d'hôtes Littoral 65 in Chez-le-Bart offers a summer garden with tables and chairs and a bright and spacious rooms. Guests are welcome to use the terrace and garage. Molt bon tracte. Tot molt correcte. Es veu el llac des de l'habitació

L'Old Town Flat combina un edifici històric situat al centre de Murten amb apartaments elegants i moderns que inclouen una cuina completament equipada, una terrassa amb jardí i Wi-Fi gratuïta. Basically in the old town, but quiet. Adorable flat with everything we needed. Really nice to have an area to sit and chat instead of a hotel room.
