You can't ask for a better host than Ahmed. He goes above and beyond his duty. He regaled me with stories of his family, got me a SIM card and a bike rental, and showed me the local village. The Egyptian breakfast on the deck of the boat was delicious. The room was a little small and the boat is undergoing some repairs. But I strongly recommend this experience to everyone and I will myself come back here next time I visit Luxor.
