What a wonderful surprise to discover Hisa Ales. From the moment we entered and were greeted with a friendly face and a brandy cordial, our stay just got better. A nicely appointed and quiet room was expected at the highly rated Hisa Ales. What enhanced our experience was the food and service we received. Our dinner was outstanding – very fresh ingredients presented with flair. To accompany our meal – regional sausages and vegetables - our server recommended some brilliant local craft beers, our favorite being No Bullshit Lager. Breakfast which was included in our stay was a perfect way to start our day – a lovely assortment of fresh foods and if you desired an omelet cooked for you. However, what made our stay special was the exceptional service we received. From checking in, to our wonderful server at dinner who had excellent recommendations and a fabulous sense of humour, and to the owner that ensures his guests leave satisfied, it’s a challenge to find better. A touch off the well travelled roads, it’s a diversion well worth your time.

Located 10 km from Krvavec Ski Resort, Tourist Farm Pr'Dovar is a family-run farm that offers homemade delicacies and a garden. Fantastic place to spend your holiday! It is up in the mountain, beautiful panorama during the road. The breakfast worths the price, the coffee was much better than expected, delicious salami and ham, vegetable, cheese etc. Free coffee and tea (homemade herbal ones too) all day. There are a lot of boardgames and foosball in the common kitchen. The rooms are big enough, we travelled with our baby and there was enough place for her bed too next to our twinbed. There is a lot of space for packing our stuff: a big wardrobe, a dresser, 2 nightsands and a table. The bathroom was also nice and clean. There is a ski area nearby, we will take into consideration a winter travel here aswell!
