It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

The room is very clean and comfortable. The AC works wonderful during our stay which was about 34 degrees outside. The host is very kind and welcoming. Fernanda went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. She picked some fresh figs and oranges from the orchard for our breakfast. Our room has a balcony with the wonderful view of Douro river and the valley. We will return.

Wonderful guest house with all of the amenities you could ask for. Marco and Joana are friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. We can't recommend this accommodation more for a long weekend in the Douro Valley, off-street and secure parking was another huge bonus!
