Elvas the Queen Residence is set in Elvas, within 20 km of Badajoz Fortress and 200 metres of Municipal Library of Elvas. My host Richard was fabulous. He took the time to show me where to park my car in the complex old city streets, actually accompanying me and then walking me back to his immaculate place. He was charming, knowledgeable and made the whole stay perfect. Cannot recommend this place enough, and at the price, the best lodging experience in my entire travel in Portugal.

Set within 17 km of Aljezur Castle and 30 km of Sardao Cape in Odeceixe, Bohemian Antique Guesthouse offers accommodation with seating area. The rooms in this hostel are the coolest I’ve ever seen. I stayed in the Moroccan Gypsy room and it was so unique and thoughtfully designed. I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Odeceixe

Offering a garden and city view, Casa Luar is set in Odeceixe, 31 km from Sardao Cape and 39 km from Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park. The host was super nice. The breakfast was tasty. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice location for Rota Vicentina. There was a refrigerator in the room and heating equipment in case it's too cold.

El Valeriana Exclusive GuestHouse està situat a Évora i té bar, saló compartit i allotjaments amb pati o balcó, WiFi gratuïta i TV de pantalla plana. The staff were amazing. This was our relax time from a busy travelling schedule and it was so nice to just stop. We spent some time visiting areas as suggested and had two fabulous dinners cooked at the venue. Were also able to do a wine tasting by the pool and then toured the vineyard and cork tree farm by ourselves.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, the refurbished ZOETIC sustainable rooms is situated in Évora, a 10-minute walk from Evora Cathedral and Roman Temple. The welcoming host has been very helpful, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. This place is at a walking distance from historic center and there’s free parking in the street in front. We recommend this place.

Offering free WiFi access and a flat-screen TV in each private room, Alojamentos Vitinho - Vila Nova Milfontes is located in Vila Nova de Milfontes, 800 metres from the centre. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Love the room just wish we had more chance to use the patio (couldn’t this time because of the weather). Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

A recently renovated property, Cantinho de Milfontes Jacuzzi is located in Vila Nova de Milfontes near Franquia Beach, Praia Carreiro da Fazenda and Patacho Beach. The furnishings of the room are tasteful, and well equipped.

Featuring a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and views of pool, Casa Az-Zagal is a recently renovated guest house set in Casa Branca, 25 km from Statue of Queen Saint Elizabeth. First of all the staff was extremely kind and polite, they do the atmost to let you feel welcome. Everyone with a smile! The Hotel is beautifully furnished, very stylish. Everything is spotless clean and well taken care of. We can recommend the Hotel to everyone who is searching for great time off in the Alentejo.

Set in Ferreira do Alentejo, in a historic building, 48 km from Flour Museum, SOLAR DOS FRADES is a recently renovated guest house with an outdoor swimming pool and spa and wellness centre. The property was beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for three adults. The windows/shutters were gorgeous! The manager/staff were polite and helpful. We traveled in January, so we didn’t make use of the outdoor amenities, but would love to return in the future.
