Grimisdale Guest House

Leverburgh

Grimisdale Guest House is offering accommodation in Leverburgh. This bed and breakfast features a garden and free private parking.

Featuring a private bathroom, units at the bed and breakfast also provide guests with free WiFi, while selected rooms include a terrace. Excellent location, easy to find when arriving by ferry, secure bike storage, clean, comfortable and helpful, friendly staff/owners. Very connected to the community and helpful when finding future accommodation. Bag transfer service to Tarbert given the terrain & wind was much appreciated. PS: cycling onward on a Sunday? Nothing is open so ask for a packed lunch. Lesson learned 😟

Ceol na Mara Guest House 4 stars

Tarbert

This peaceful, 5 Star rated (by Visit Scotland), B&B has beautiful views over Loch Kindebig and is 5 minutes from Tarbet Ferry Terminal. It offers free Wi-Fi and breakfasts made with local produce.

Ceol na Mara is well located for exploring the Isle of Harris and Isle of Lewis. Stornoway is a 45-minute drive away and Luskentyre Beach is 20 minutes by car. Everything was perfect ! Jane and Dave are very welcoming and gentle. The room was perfect ! The private bathroom outside the room is just in front of the room in a calm part of the house. As arrived a little late to go out for diner. Jane indicated me that a little set to have a little bite with my food was available. And a mini bar is available in the commun area with different kind of drinks (price very ok) and with Harris gin ! A very nice attention with a little jar of whisky of the day is waiting for you in your room. All the commun area were very Cosy. the bed is like a cloud. And the breakfast is incredibly wonderfully tasty and freshly cooked. And the view !! If yo got lost with your gps, use the localisation from booking it is the good one. Jane has plenty of really good tips to give on the island.
