The place is great, a paradise of pastoral tranquility and of serenity, I am sure it would be difficult to find anything better, unless one travels to a remote island. Well, if you like people, movement and action, this is not the place for you, otherwise it is simply ideal for relaxing and leaving your problems behind! I have spent many holidays in France in similar B&B places, but the owners of Grand Lucay far surpass any I have seen before. Extremely kind and friendly as one rarely, very rarely finds. Thank you!

Domaine de Marchal - chambres et table er staðsett 45 km frá Vichy-lestarstöðinni, 48 km frá Palais des Congrès Opéra Vichy og 48 km frá Célestins-lindinni. Our stay here was excellent. We arrived later than expected, and the welcome was so warm and kind They even made an evening meal for us, which was superb. Breakfast was also very good and generous. The property is charming, very well maintained, with beautiful large gardens. This was a perfect place to stay, and I highly recommend it.

Such wonderful hosts that made us feel so welcome. When thinking about it, we’re not sure we’ve had hosts that were so caring and helpful before. We were on the terrace which looks out over the beautiful vista and they came down and we chatted for maybe an hour. They made fresh bread and yoghurt for breakfast. You can tell they really want you to have a great experience staying there. The building is really well renovated keeping the old convent character while adding a modern touch. The room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. We intend to come back when we can.

This is my second visit and I was once again treated like family as was Gus my dog. I love everything about the lodging and the guys running the show. My evening meal was amazing. When I didn’t have time for breakfast I was offered a lovely lunch for my journey. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thanks so much for making me feel at home. I will see you again very soon.

Jean-Claude could not have done more for us, and we felt special being welcomed in to his family home; experiencing the lived life of a French family, whilst having our privacy respected and all our needs met.
