The team were really friendly and welcoming at all times, breakfast was generous and diverse in terms of items. They even prepared a little take away box for us for a day trip. The swimming pool is great and has a little Jacuzzi, which is a stunning way to end the day. Their restaurant is really good and so are the caipirinhas. Overall a great pick!

We were there in dry season and the people from the lodge did a very good job. We had a very good experience with the activities and the good service. The local food was great and rich in variety. We stayed at the Refúgio for a weekend and we were the only guests on the site. Ana Ligia and her family welcomed us with open arms and did everything in their power to make us feel like home. The lodge is, as stated, quite rustic – so not for everyone. But for those who enjoy nature and being somewhere outside of the busy city life of Manaus, it's perfect. We especially loved the breakfast with açaí and lots of fresh fruit and the fish that Ana Ligia made for lunch. As a hostess, she also helped us when we missed our boat to get to the Refúgio and helped us as well on our way back. We really enjoyed our stay and, if we're in Manaus again, would definitely stay again!
