Location and privacy - a true gem! Very helpful host. Nice scenery. Pool is not heated. Pool is perfect to cool down in the hot weather. The sun is extremely hot. Especially for April. We travelled and ticked every box in Madeira. I suggest staying here as a base. Nice restaurants near by. Lovely beach and scenery close by also. Having a private parking space helped. Have in mind that the location will need a strong car engine to get up and down.

We had an amazing time staying at Casa do Miradouro! The views from the veranda were absolutely breathtaking and a favourite with the whole family!!! 😄 Our host, Leontina, was extremely friendly, kind and hospitable and we thank her from the bottom of our hearts for such an amazing stay. Everything was provided for (WiFi, hairdryer, washing machine and drying rack, dishwasher, plenty of kitchen utensils, lots of towels and good water pressure) so that our stay was as comfortable as possible. The kitchen was even stocked with tea, coffee, spices, salt, olive oil and vinegar. We were greeted with bottle of local vine and full bowl of fresh fruits ( and were given extra during our stay- all much appreciated! ). There are no stairs inside the house as the accommodation is just one floor but Leontina was extremely kind to let the kids play in the garden downstairs which had a hammock, a trampoline, palm trees and more incredible views! All the bedrooms were spacious and had comfortable beds, wardrobes with extra towels and bedsheets, chest of drawers and lamps. One of the bedrooms had an en suite which we very much enjoyed. The bathrooms and whole house were very clean and perfect for 4-6 people. We had an incredible stay at Casa do Miradouro and highly recommend it!!!!! Quiet location with just goats and rooster waking you up. Great base for exploring Madeira if you want to escape crowds at Funchal. Levada 2 walks ( Nova & Moinho ) nearby- just get down 5-10 minutes walking for start of levada Nova walk, breathing views! and waterfalls

Very helpful host. Whatever questions we had they try to answer. You can expect several nice suprises. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. If You rent a car location is not a problem. Rooms simple and clean, a lot of place to seat outside. Highly recommend!

It’s close to good infrastructure and still feels secluded enough to switch off properly. The hosts are great people and always there for any need. Best recommendation: walk over to the Candela Bar 20 meters from the house and enjoy your espresso in the morning, overlooking the ocean.

A great renovated house, we were shown everything in detail and we also learned a lot about the history of the house. Veronica and her family were the best hosts, providing us with fresh fruit. You can expect a very clean accommodation there, surrounded by bananas, with a private parking lot and plenty of space to relax. Simply a little oasis with a sea view, the sound of the sea and lots of privacy. We will definitely book the house again on our next vacation!

The interior was modern and spotless with all amenities thought of. The check in and out was brilliant, we were met by Sidonia from ‘A Home in Madeira’. During our stay we also met the owner who was very pleased to meet with us. The hot tub and BBQ area was a fantastic bonus. You can also walk easily down into the village via steps just next to the property.TraceyFamily with young children

Great location for day trips around the island. A wide parking space in the garage with easy parking. Two bathrooms for 4 people was a luxury.

The house has a charming garden with great view and places for the rest and breakfast, everything was fresh and clean and made for your comfortable staying. Catia is great host and her house is the place where you want to return as soon as possible.
