Everything was beautiful, clean, and well put together. Beds are low to the floor, but very comfortable. Everything is new and nice in rooms. Breakfast room/ community kitchen area is so well organized, clean, and has everything. You can purchase drinks, food, wine , and other items on honor system. Hostess is incredibly friendly. the property is really something special! the owners and staff are amazing and the views from the rooms and pool are incredible! we had a truly special stay at Casa do Arco. The location was amazing in the middel of the wine land. Surrounded by wine grapes and farms. An incredible view down to Douro river as it turns and sunrise in the morning. The absolute best vacation we've been on. Pictures do not do this place justice! It looks amazing in the pictures, but reality is just breathtaking. Breakfast is good, service is amazing, bed was comfy, etc. I could go on forever about this place - we have since then recommended this place to everyone we know! The absolute perfect place for a romantic getaway. Oh and if you do go - make sure to have the private wine tasting with tapas!
