This is an extremely comfortable guest house. We enjoyed a modern, spacious, well appointed room with private bathroom. There are tea and coffee facilities available and the breakfast is generous. The pool and jacuzzi are heated and covered. The hosts are extremely friendly and kind, going the extra mile to ensure you have the best stay possible.

The Porta 20 guesthouse is so perfectly located: a 5 minute walk to the Jardim de Camões, and the center of Leiria, with its restaurants, bars, and historic buildings; 10 minutes to the excellent bus station; and close to supermarkets and a launderette. But what really made my stay special was the staff. I received a delicous and varied breakfast box every morning, my room was small but had everything I needed for a month-long stay.

Nulla, condotta da discutibile locandiera, ho preso la camera due giorni per vicinanza ospedale di Leiria causa infortunio. Prolungato a tre direttamente dalla locandiera, per via di ulteriore degenza. Non si è mai occupata delle camere, sono entrato con il rotolo di carta igienica già consumato, rimasto senza sono dovuto andarmela a comperare dato che secondo la locandiera non era compresa, il tutto a 85€ a notte che per l’ultima ha voluto in contanti venendomi a bussare alle 10.00 di sera. A tuttora non risulta registrato su Booking la notte in più. Non fatevi ingannare dalle foto! Sconsigliatissimo !!!!

This was an excellent way for us to have a family holiday without breaking the bank. It worked very well. My family had two rooms for us and then we shared the kitchen on the ground floor with one other family who were staying. The kitchen was well equipped and Lidl was just around the corner. The pool was lovely and was cleaned every day. The bedding was nice and comfortable and the room was cleaned while we were there. We had breakfast at 8 or 9am of freshly baked bread, croissants and fresh fruit salad and coffee every morning. Such a treat! The host was very kind.

WE LOVED THE STAY!! To start off with the things most important to travelers: the rooms are very clean, they provide many (more then you will ever need) towels that are extra big, there’s a kitchen so you could fix up a breakfast, and an electric kettle with cups are both in the room and in the kitchen. The AC was there, too. The nature in the area is great and the air is clean, the town center only a 5 minute drive away. The owner was extra nice and welcoming from the very beginning. He told us everything we wanted to know, and answered any questions we had. If you are ever wondering where to visit next, make sure to ask him, he will tell you about a variety of options. The highlight of our stay, we also had the opportunity to use the grill, all the while the owner helped us set it up and use it. We stayed for only two days but became good friends with the owner and his family. By the second day we truly felt at home. Definitely staying there again!
