The rooms were glorious with beautiful antique furniture, the grounds were beautiful and historical, and the hosts have created a magical atmosphere here which feels like it's taken out of a movie. If you don't stay here while you're in Italy, the loss is truly yours, we will definitely be returning!

We loved our stay here! The view over the surrounding area is so lovely, with mountains and the lake in the distance, and the location is very peaceful. Dario and Cinzia were splendid hosts, and gave us excellent recommendations for local restaurants. The breakfast was the best we had in our travels, with amazing local food. The hosts were so kind and accommodating even though we arrived earlier than we had expected. We had a car and were able to explore the area easily; Orta San Giulio was just a few minutes drive.

The place was beautiful. It has an awesome outdoor breakfast area under the tree. The breakfast was good, we had chocolate croissants most days with a coffee. The staff were super friendly and helpful especially with telling us where to get the bus from. Their english was good and nothing seemed to bother them. Roberto was super friendly and nice, even gave us shots of his home brew. The accommodation was a large bedroom with small kitchen facilities including a stove top and fridge. The bed was comfortable. There was no air-con (that we could see) but they gave us a fan which was fine. The room didn't get that hot to be honest so it wasn't an issue. We were a bit concerned when we saw earplugs laid out on our bedside table that it might get noisy, but it didn't at all, so maybe thats just a nice touch. The bathroom was big, and the shower pressure was excellent. The location was great, on the main road, (not that it's busy), close to the supermarket and lake.

Alessandra is great! She took care of us even before we arrived, by helping to figure out how to reach Alzo without renting a car. We enoyed the reall Italy environment!

A very good breakfast. Location is difficult to access without a vehicle but the host is available to provide a pick up and drop off service to and from the railway station, and other tourist locations on request. The view from the property is exceptional.
