- 이 조그만 Kilrush라는 동네는 사실 볼만한 게 별로 없습니다. 제가 이 동네에 묵게 된 것도 지나가는 길에 숙박하기 가장 괜찮은 위치였기 때문입니다. 하지만 Greg은 근처 훌륭한 Kilkee쪽 spot을 소개시켜 줬습니다. 이건 정말 굉장한 경험이었어요! 많은 분들이 아일랜드 하면 Cliff of Moher를 떠올리지만 개인적으로는 Cliff walk Kilkee가 훨씬 더 좋았습니다. - 조식은 정말이지 말이 필요없습니다. 단 15유로에 fine dining을 경험할 수 있습니다. 그것도 조식에 말이죠. 최고입니다!! - microwave가 방 안에 있습니다. 다른 아일랜드 숙소에서는 본 적이 없었습니다.

I felt very welcomed. The room had everything I needed, the bathroom was exceptionally clean and everything worked fine. Breakfast options were perfect (full Irish or continental) and I definitely didn't leave hungry.

John was the most welcoming host from the moment we arrived. He went above board to give us the warmest welcome by making tea and serving up the most delicious home baked goods that he had freshly prepared himself. My partner is gluten and lactose intolerant and he made baked goods to facilitate this. The breakfast in the morning too was so beautifully presented and such a wide range of continental offerings along with the most delicious offering of hot food. Once again John went to great efforts to ensure my partners dietary requirements were catered for. The BnB is a beautiful house….just out the road from vibrant Kilkee. All the rooms are very tastefully decorated and you feel relaxed and at home as soon as you walk in the door with the beautiful decor, relaxing music and aromatherapy. The bed was so comfortable and we both had a very peaceful night sleep. John had recommended local bars and restaurants to eat in and also recommended a beautiful walk along the coast that was truly spectacular- especially being the beautiful balmy evening we had when we were there. There is a lovely garden around the house….was so glad i had packed my yoga mat….found a lovely corner to do some evening stretches. Plenty of on-site parking. Very handy for getting the ferry the next day. We actually regretted our stay was so short as we really felt at ease and comfortable at Sycamore lodge. It has been the best place we have ever stayed in Ireland in terms of comfort, value for money, location, delicious food and home baked welcome treats (meringue to die for!) but most importantly the hospitality John showed was 5 star. Thanks so much to John for a lovely stay! Without a doubt we will be back!
