We were 3 friends looking for a traditional English pub in a small village to stay at near to a few local golf courses to try. The Benett Arms in Semley did not disappoint. Great staff, location and a lovey pub with very comfortable rooms/ The food and drink was excellent with a lovely outdoor space to watch the locals (including a donkey) go by. Recommend the local fresh milkshake dispenser and farm shop. We will be back.

Rachel is such a wonderful host. The farm is so peaceful and relaxing. From the well appointed rooms in all of the home, beautiful bathroom amenities, to the delicious breakfast. Close to small villages and sights. Live the knitting wool I bought that they make from their own sheep. Will be back.

Debs greeted us with abounding friendliness and conversation. Ate at the fox and hounds which was really good chow. Returned back to find fire lit and sat watching a spot telly in a very comfortable front room. Absolutely recommend. Thanks Deb and James.

Lots of lovely touches to make us feel welcome - eg log fire to come home to after dinner out, tea and biscuits in bedroom, interesting books to dip into etc. Deb was incredibly friendly and hospitable and served us a royal feast at breakfast. The location is fairly isolated so it’s very quiet at night. Milton Farm is only a couple of minutes drive from Hindon which has some very nice pubs. The Grosvenor Arms is worth checking out. Our host, Deb, was lovely and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and consisted of a full English, fruits, yoghurt, granola, cereals and pretty much everything you could think of.
