Everything! the whole experience at chateau du Gerfaut were amazing. The bedrooms are really nice and well preserved. the restrooms were renovated and with good shower systems. the breakfast are precious, made with local food and served at their dinner room with a beautiful view. The breakfast was everything you could want. I'm not used to a large breakfast so I had fruit and some bread. However a large selection of beverages, yogart etc were available. I was the only guest for a number of days and had the pool all to myself. I like it when my room is left alone - I don't like staff in my personal space and that was fine with Janine and Bernard. The house is literally on the banks of the river Loire, on a peaceful county road. It was perfect but also close to a village where I could get picnic supplies.
