La Boulonnaise, bed and breakfast a Boulogne-sur-Mer

A recently renovated property, La Boulonnaise is located in Boulogne-sur-Mer near Boulogne Beach, Boulogne-sur-Mer Museum and Boulogne-sur-Mer Tintelleries Train Station.

The hotel was carefully and delightfully decorated in a kin of regency style! Every single detail was taken into account! Rooms are exceptional, as much as they tea room, the breakfast time and the kindness of its owners, who were present all the time to make our experience unforgettable! Breakfast is so good that you will love it, as much as the whole atmosphere created around the room, with soft jazz music, a fire place and the cute tableware and tables setting! The hotel is truly a boutique space, and is perfected located in the heart of Boulogne old town! One detail that speaks by itself was that our inbound train stopped before Boulogne, and the owner offered himself to go and pick us up to brought us in his car to the hotel! Also, he printed all train options for us for the day after in our return to Paris. These are the type of gestures that make the experience a great moment to remember and make you want to come back again!

Valérie is an outstanding host. She made my stay at Boulogne-sur-Mer a very rewarding one. Thanks to her advice I was able to find the best restaurants in town and the best attractions also. Let's not forget that Valérie was born and raised in Boulogne-sur-Mer. Also the check-in and checkout process was pleasant and easy. I would go back to her place without a second-guess and will recommend it to anyone else.

Interior decoration was stylish and had character. The room was quite big, and the bathroom was spacious. The hotel has other rooms you can use, like the reading room and reception. It has a nice terrace. Breakfast was simple but very good. Thomas was very helpful and friendly host.

David and Sabine are ideal hosts. Their enthusiasm and helpfulness were delightful from the moment we arrived to the moment David helped us navigate out of a fairly tight parking area at departure. Their recommendations regarding sites to visit and restaurants were appreciated. We especially enjoyed chatting about the history of the area and the home with both of them. The location is dreamy - even though the weather was cold and rainy we enjoyed our stay and walks through the gorgeous town.
