Amazing location and facilities, the sound of the river flowing is lovely. The villas were extremely comfortable, overall an amazing stay and visits to Porto and Pedrógão Grande and the nature surrounding.

Casa de Baixo - Nature Hotel ligger i Alvoco das Várzeas. Du kan koble av i leke- og aktivitetsrommet eller baren på stedet. Alle rommene er utstyrt med flatskjerm-TV. This spot was just awesome, it was paradise. Everything was clean, comfort was great, very quiet. I really liked the decor. I had a lovely balcony over looking the property and I enjoyed watching the farm animals come to the tree near the gate for a scratch. Maragite was lovely hostess and her worker Ashef was very attentive. Breakfast was really good too!

Casa Carvalhal is an amazing property that is maintained to a very high standard by the owners. Our room and the ensuite were very spacious, spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable. Having a separate dressing room was a real bonus. The attention to detail in the rooms is exceptional. Our room had a terrace with chairs & sunloungers and it was lovely to relax outside with a book and enjoy the sun. We have visited many places and can honestly say this is definitely one of the best. The breakfast was incredible and very healthy with the majority of the food being homemade e.g. yogurt, marmalade, freshly squeezed orange juice and granola - being given a bag to take pastries, bread etc with us was a lovely touch. Herman and Luc are fantastic hosts, who clearly have a passion for what they do - they were both more than happy to help us with ideas of things to do in the area. There is plenty of parking and the property is very secure and the locked gate can only be accessed by guests. We would have no hesitation in recommending Casa Carvalhal if you are visiting Gois or the surrounding area

Featuring water sports facilities and views of garden, Encontro no Rio is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Póvoa de Midões, 39 km from Mangualde Live Artificial Beach. We had an absolutely fantastic time staying in Encontro no Rio. From the moment we arrived, the owners, David, Daniela and the kids welcomed us with open arms, making us feel like part of their family. Their warmth and kindness truly made the experience special. The farmhouse was a gem! The stunning view of the river took our breath away every single day. The pool was an excellent addition, and we spent many enjoyable hours relaxing and splashing around in the water. The animals on the property were an absolute delight. It was heartwarming to see how well they were cared for and how friendly they were with all the guests. The highlight of our stay was definitely the horseback ride with "Cavalos no Rio Mondego." Exploring the beautiful surroundings on horseback was an unforgettable experience. The horses were well-trained, and the guides were knowledgeable, ensuring we had a safe and thrilling ride. We genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay, and we are already looking forward to coming back! Thank you, David and Daniela, for providing us with such an unforgettable experience. Set in Cernache do Bonjardim, Canto Zêzere, Barragem de Castelo do Bode offers accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. We absolutely loved this place. Beautiful house. Great kitchen. Comfortable beds and big bathrooms. Very up to date bathrooms and on every floor. The yard is beautiful. Right on the water. Fruit trees and ample parking. Hosts are very kind and very nice. The BBQ is wood fired. They supply wood, and you can also pick driftwood from the beach. Quiet setting. We just love this place and we will definitely be back.
