Marbakki was a very beautiful, secluded property. My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!

A few km driving from Kirkjufell parking. We can see the mountain and surrounding area just in our room. Room is not very big but very clean and comfort. A public kitchen with everything you need. We cooked 2 meals there. Staff very helpful. Beddings very comfy.

Set in the quiet countryside of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, this family-run guest house is 45 minutes’ drive from Stykkishólmur town centre. The location and room were great and the staff were lovely and friendly. We weren't able to spend as many nights here as we had hoped because the roads were closed to the weather. The owners were very helpful and understanding and made what could have been a stressful change of plans super straightforward and stress free. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in West Iceland!

It was the best place we stayed in Iceland so far. The whole apartment was super cozy and warm. Sleeping with the sound of the sea is amazing. While we were there there was a blizzard and we were actually happy because by being stuck we could enjoy the place more. Super recommended
