Great view on the balcony, comfortable bed, super nice staff offering great delicious food and giving helpful advices regarding the life in the bay and what things to do. They even have a super cute hotel cat called Chocopie which used to cuddle all the time. The accommodation and the bay in general had a very nice laid-back vide what made it perfect for someone seeking for some relaxation and for those who want to experience the local life. We also had the opportunity to rent snorkels and fill up our water for free and to get discount on food as well as their paddles and kayaks. We absolutely loved it there!

This truly is a hidden paradise! We loved the location, the beach, the food, the staff.. everything! The beach is very clean and quiet. We stayed at a bungalow listening to the waves of the sea and some noises of the jungle. It's also a wonderful place to go snorkeling, directly from the beach. At Sleeping Trees there are a lot of trees and cozy hammocks, we loved relaxing in the shade during the heat. Beautiful!

Omg - Where do I start? Sam is lovely! The house is lovely! The village is lovely! This whole island is lovely!! The moment it set a foot on M‘Pai Bay I decided that I would like to stay longer. Sam made it happen ♥️ she’s such a great host! Always helping you out and gives you a lot of information about what’s going on on the island, where to eat, where to chill etc. she always took care of me and was checking if everything is ok. Thanks Sam!♥️ The room has everything you need for an unforgettable stay. The perks of traveling is that you meet great people and great places. But the downside is that you have to say goodbye to them ♥️

Ellen made us feel at home immediately. We felt so comfortable here in her beautiful property. The rooms are lovely, clean, and cool with the over head fan. The property also has a great balcony with hammock and view over the village. Ellen gave us great advice on what to do and where to eat in the bay as the food there is excellent. We didn’t want to leave.

Anyone who hasn't come to live in his house, I'll be sorry for you. Very clean and tidy room, cool at night, no mosquitoes. There's a beautiful garden out front where you can lie in a hammock all day. Mon and his wife are very warm and friendly. Their babies are cute, too. The neighbors are also very welcoming. Close to the beach, you can pay a little money to have a delicious lunch at his house, which is cheaper than outside restaurants. Anyone coming to this island I recommend renting a canoe for $5 and paddling around the island for an afternoon. Much more exciting than surfing and diving. Unfortunately, the vacation is too short. I wish I could stay at his house for a long time. Thanks Angel Mon！I will definitely recommend many Chinese friends to come to your home, I hope you and your family will always be happy!

Our stay at Sok Mean Bungalows was one of the best accomodation experiences we've had. The bungalows are simple, spacious, very clean and the bed super comfortable. They're equipped with a fan and a mosquito net. The fan, for the weather we caught, was enough to sleep comfortably. There's a restaurant with very flavourful and cheap food. Some of the best fried rice we've had in Cambodia. You can also have your breakfast there, right in front of the beach and share a delicious free tea with Sok! They also have kayaks at an amazing price. One of the high points was definitely the family and the owner, Sok, in particular. He made us feel at home, was a great company and a very good cards player! He knows a lot about how to get around and has some very good suggestions to improve your stay. Definitely do the snorkeling, fishing and plankton tour and the fresh fish barbecue Sok will invite you to.

Firstly, the location is fantastic. The bungalows are a super short walk from the Orchid Pier. Secondly, the staff is so nice and welcoming. Thirdly, they give you a 20 liter jug of water that you can use for drinking water (this is all included). The beds were comfortable, the fan worked great, and the mosquito net did it's job. While there is no restaurant on site, several nice places to eat are a short stroll away. After staying at the more "luxury" places along the beach during previous stays on the island, we felt more at home and more comfortable at Sunny Bungalows.

Beach House Cambodia is an unbelievable place! The location is unique, right there at the beach, and at the same time in the village. You see children playing for hours with everything and nothing (whatever washes up with the next tide), you see villagers pulling together to clean up the beach (there is a lot of trash, a less pretty side of Cambodia in general) and there is little else to do than sit down and relax and watch the world go by. An amazing 'time-out' of everything that may be on your mind. There may be a few things to do, but when I was there, the seas were so rough and high that the boats to other parts of the island didn't sail and the place is so pure yet, there are no roads :) to get around. There is, however, a short uphill hike to a waterfall and another short hike to a beautiful and quiet beach nearby. Both would always be accessible, I imagine. When I arrived I was greeted with a genuine and heartfelt 'Hi, it's so great to see you!' And they meant it. The day to day running of the place is done by shifts of young, European, volunteers, who really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and happy. If there's anything you need: tell them. I, for instance, had booked a rather basic room which seemed fine when I booked it, but because I wasn't feeling very well by the time I got there, the room was a bit too basic after all. After sharing this, I got a really nice upgrade! There's breakfast, there are afternoon bites, there are drinks and there's the evening 'family dinner' that you're welcome to share with the volunteers. There's WiFi, there's relaxing music, there are chairs, couches, hammocks, a pool table and books to borrow. And there's an incredible owner who has some stories to tell that are truly inspiring!

This is easily my favourite place in Cambodia. The location is amazing, so close to the beach and the bars/ resraurants of the Saracen Bay yet quiet and secluded. The room was spacious, clean and equipped with everything one might need. The food at the restaurant is tasty and good value. The most amazing thing at Paradise Villas, however, is the staff. Never have I ever experienced warmth and hospitality on such a personal level. Love this place and will be back!

12/10 would stay here again! My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights and it truly felt like our home away from home. The location was perfect; a two minute walk to the beach and is near bars/restaurants. The staff/owners are the kindest people and put in a lot of care to ensure that their guests are comfortable. Our biggest regret about the whole trip was that we never ordered Mela's famous dumplings! We know better for next time though. Cannot recommend enough!
