Walter, our host welcomed us personally and he organized a transfer and taxi trip for us from the airport. He is very friendly, helpful and responds quickly, we were happy to have him as host. The place itself is quiet and comfortable, perfect for travelling couples. We would definitely go back!

Very comfy beds, air conditioning was almost too cold! Which was a real treat after travelling through Central America/places with no A/C. Checking in and out was very easy. Everything provided, towels, shampoo etc. Kitchen also upstairs- not as complete as a hostel kitchen but has everything you need (also instead of cooking yourself, much better to go get the empanadas from down the road anyway!), wifi was great too. Staff were fabulous too, our Español is not great, and it was no problem!

Location is great! We have a nice balcony with sea view so we're able to relax before heading out for dinner. The staff were great. This is the second time we stayed here and we already have families staying here in April.

Amazing place with a lot of character. The hosting family was super nice and welcoming, gave us great advice and guidance about everything was ask. Breakfast was great and served to the room at the hour you ask for. The place feels like home. Location is also good, 2 minutes from the fish market, 7 minutes from the pier.

We had a very big room with an own kitchen and bathroom. It was nice to do some cooking. When traveling for a long time it can be a drag to always have to go to restaurants. We spontaneously decided to stay 2 nights in San Cristobal but had booked all of our time on Santa Cruz. The host was so nice to give us a reduction as we were not around for two days.

The booking was a good value. I really appreciated the AC units and it was great to have a kitchen, though a can opener and some measuring cups would have been a nice addition. It was also nice to have a living room area where we could hang out as a family, but then each have our own bedrooms.
