The property was secure, clean, tidy, and the pool/ garden area was lovely. A short walk to a supermarket, and playa negra. Lots of space for parking if you are planning to rent a car for your trip! Hosts were super helpful with any requests and particularly with transport as we did not rent a vehicle of any sort during our stay.

Beautiful villa surrounded by jungle and the sound of birds, monkeys and other fauna. Saw hummingbirds and other birds daily through my room window or on the terrace while having breakfast. The pool area was nice very nice. We had a car and the beach, town and supermarket was just a few minutes drive. The owner, Yuri, was kind and very helpful with anything, available 24/7 and made delicious piña colada!

We got the unit on the second floor. It had 2 bedrooms. Super comfy 200cm width bed. Fully equipped kitchen though the kitchen is outdoors, might not fit everyone. For us it was great. Barely any mosquitoes even outdoors. Nice place to buy fruits 5 minutes walk and a big organic supermarket less than 10 minutes walk. The beach is very close to the flat, big waves but we built sand castles with our baby so it was fine. It was very relaxing stay in a peaceful environment. They even have a laundry machine and were very responsive to all our requests. Felt very secluded. 10 minutes walk from the Jaguar Rescue Center.

Very beautiful little hotel with a small pool area. Rooms are very clean and super comfortable to stay in. Staff is really nice and incredibly helpful. The owners gave us lots of advice on things to do in Puerto Viejo and the area around it.

The breakfast, the environment outside of the small houses, the jungle, the amazing sounds of the jungles. The owners. Everything was perfect. It was the best place I ever stayed.

Villa de Pinas is the best place in Puerto Viejo. The owners are so great that its hard to find the words. Their hospitality is at the highest level. Our every day talks with them were very nice. Also their animals do the job, especially if you miss your dog or cat. Breakfasts - each day something different and delicious. Plus fresh coffee to the room in the morning was waiting for us :) Room together with the bathroom and terrace all were big and comfortable. We've spend nice evenings on the terrace. The owners are not only very friendly but as well very helpful. The place is close to the beach, not so far from the town. Close are some restaurants where you can eat well.
