Fully equipped kitchen and comes with washer and dryer which was really helpful. Check in from the nicely lighted shop/cafe downstairs and they will show you to your room. Free parking on site.

Our goal was to tour the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. This was the perfect spot to head out and tour the entire peninsula.

The kitchen is well equipped, also with everyday necessities ... exceptional: A special drawer with all conceivable spices! You will find various wines and soft drinks (white wine and rosé well chilled!) - the wines at pleasant prices and the soft drinks for free! It was a special pleasure to meet Gisli, the owner: such a warm and lovable man! He personally guided us through the house, the original domicile of his ancestors, and had a lot of interesting things to tell...everything here is exceptional! Note: There is a good bakery and cafe nearby. There is nothing negative to say! This was maybe the best accomodation on our two weeks trip to Iceland.
