The entrance and staircase to the apartment is beautiful (some with a fear of heights may struggle with the staircase). This really was one of the nicest apartments I have stayed in with the added benefit of off street parking. Strongly recommended.

The boat was incredible, it was beautifully decorated, homely, welcoming and has everything you need for a lovely stay! Pierre was extremely friendly and welcoming and we loved our stay!

We stayed for a week and we were as comfortable as when we are at home. The house has all the appliences a family may need, including simple things as cotton pads for face cleaning or a stab mixer for puree soups. The rooms are spacious and the beds are supercomfortable. There is a big terrace for nice summer dinners or breakfast (although we didn't use it, as the outside temperature was still chilly). There are even board games and crayons for the kids! The situation of the house is perfect for visiting Brugge, Gent, Lille and Ieper. The only thing to have in mind is that the house has 3 stores and the stairs are steep. Although if you travel with really small kids, there is a baby-safety-fence to limit the access to the stairs.

Lovely quirky studio apartment with everything you need plus. Fantastic location, right in the centre of Chimay opposite the back of the church Collégiale Saints-Pierre-et-Paul. Very close to bars and restaurants, and yet tucked away in a secluded corner with an outside table and chairs to watch the house martins as the sun goes down. Amazing value, thoroughly recommend.
