We liked very much where the guest house is located, Rodik, a small village in rural area with a lot of trees. But is still close to national road and the highway, so the caves are easily accesable. While others might complain about the morning bell sound, we actually liked it - it's quite an experience :) Beds are confortable. We also appreciated the local products, of course all natural (organic for the american minded).

The location is beautiful and the apartment had everything that we needed for the staying for a week with the family. The hosts are super friendly. Since the weather was exceptionally hot they organised the opportunity to cook outside. They also shared tips where to do the shopping, which places and beaches to visit, where we could hike to, etc. We'll gladly stay here again when visiting Istria in the future.
