Nice quiet location, easy to get to, couple of minutes walk to beach front at Goodrington . Close by to Youngs park, and about 10 -15 minute walk down to Paignton sea front. We thought it was a lovely location and would definitely stay again .

This small, friendly, licensed bed & breakfast offers comfortable, well-appointed accommodation in a quiet, elevated position at the top of a hill, close to all that the delightful seaside towns of Paignton and Goodrington have to offer.dThe property is located in a quiet area of Paignton in Torbay, South Devon, the heart of the English Riviera, where guests can settle into the sound of the birds but being close enough to all the local areas and attractions that the English Riviera has to offer.dFrom Sonachan House, guests can walk to two lovely beaches (Paignton & Goodrington) and to the South West Coast Path within 5 to 10 minutes. Paignton Zoo is 5 minutes away by car. Paignton town centre and the Dartmouth Steam Railway are also only a 10 minute walk away.dThe accommodation can offer 9 en-suite bedrooms with a choice of rooms including single, double, superior double and family suites sleeping up to five (2 adults & 3 children, minimum 8 year age restriction) all on a room-only basis with an optional supplementary hamper style breakfast. All rooms are centrally heated and equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, flat screen smart TVs, mini-fridge, hair dryer, quality white bed linen & white fluffy towels, complimentary shampoo/shower gel in refillable pumps, and cool air fans for those summer nights. A limited number of mobile air conditioning units are also available if needed.dSonachan House has free complimentary WiFi through out the building including all guest bedrooms.     Location was perfect short walk to seafront The flat was equipped and more. It was welcoming and very homely. Host went above and beyond and this just shows in the property. We really did leave our shoes and worries at the door. Slept very well and the beds where very comfy. Really didn’t want I go home or leave. Flat is well equipped for all your needs and if you forget things. Highly recommend for short and long visits to I’ll be returning for some summer times here

    The property was super close to everything including the pier and train station so getting into Torquay for the day was also really easy. Apartment had everything we needed and was really clean and comfortable.

    A lovely spacious, clean and modern apartment awaited us after our long journey. It's well equipped, nicely finished and decorated and well situated near the Sainsbury's local and the pub nearby for a stop off drink on our way back. It felt like a real home from home. We used it as a base for visiting other places in Devon. The parking nearby is on a respectable street and our car was safe and fine. It actually looked even nicer than the photos on the internet - so don't doubt about booking based on those.

    Comfy apartment. Well stocked kitchen for self catering. Plenty of instructions for using cooker etc. Fluffy bath sheets provided. Replaced swipe card for car park on day we reported an issue. Safe parking for car. Close to all amenities including beach & pier. Swimming pool is heated.
