The owner was very helpful and friendly, giving us a lift from the station and helping us to carry bags to the apartment and giving a few ideas on activities. He spoke good English with me and Schweizer Dutsch with my kids and was very easy going. Meiringen is a lovely town for a weekend with kids, lots to do (the Kugeln walk is great for young ones, walking and marble races... cool)

Very clean. Decorated with passion which you can see in al the details. The housekeeper (Louise) went the extra mile to help us. The location is amazing near to the train station and local attractions. The flat is well prepared for a long stay with all the facilities to cook and clean. They even provided umbrellas in case if it rains and some skiing boards. The owner met us with a smile and offered assistance if required.

Though we couldnt enjoy all the facilities due to extreme weather conditions but we had a relaxing stay. The location is walking distance to the Aareschlucht gorge which is higly recommended. The town is also easily accessible on foot or by local transport. If you plan to visit Lucern/Interlaeken or major touristic mountain peaks then the location is perfect as you could drive down to most of these places in less than an hour.ArunGroup
