Beautiful location, swimming pool, good-sized apartment, stunning view, care taker lady (Margaret) was amazing, and finally reasonable price. Lady upstairs (sorry forget her name) was very helpfull, she provided her own microwave oven for the whole week as there was no microwave oven in the apartment.

Prompt ness of responding guest queries and guidance offered to reach the property by host was really exceptional. Some what so called limitations (Humidity in washroom) are well admitted and nothing to criticise. Really All Stars 🌟 to the property and the host as well.

If we could rate this accommodation as 11 out 10, we would definitely do it! We are experienced (and quite demanding) guests but this apartment is just perfect. There is absolutely everything in the apartment (usually you always find something small that is 'nice to have but missing' but not here. We found absolutely everything! The balcony view is just... like a picture (you have difficulty to believe it's real). You can enjoy Swiss landscape without even stepping out even though there are a lot of nice areas to visit/to see. Important: tourist cards allow you to use the local buses free of charge during your stay that make it's very easy those who want to rest from the car driving :) The area is very quite (in the evening you hear just cows bell somewhere in the valley, just amazing! :) The host is extremely friendly and attentive. You feel yourself welcome even before you ring the door bell. It's a first time in our life we found out our names being displayed on the garage door ( simply for clear parking slot indication). Something small but it gives such a welcome feeling! :) The host lives just in the same building (The apartment has a separate entrance and located on the first floor). There is a small supermarket just 30 meters from the apartment which was very handy. We write this review with almost 3 weeks delay and still feeling excited about our stay :) Dear Lieve, we extremely regret that we booked only 2 nights. If we knew it was so nice, we would surely have stayed longer. We'll be back next year without doubts. Many thanks for this fantastic experience, we've enjoyed enormously! This is a fabulous, very spacious apartment with modern decor and a beautifully outfitted kitchen. The host was kind and helpful. We loved all the extras Phil provided: coffee pods, cream, fruit, oatmeal, muesli, sodas, even wine and chocolates. We enjoyed using this kitchen for our breakfasts and dinners. We even made fondue here, with the quality fondue pot. Very comfortable large bed and good shower and bathtub.There is a great view. Apartment is in quiet Oberhofen close to bus and ferry stops. Also walkable to Thun. There are some nice waterfront cafes along the lakeshore. This is a wonderful apartment!

The apartment we got overall offered so much especially the kitchen in terms of making our daily meals easier and much cheaper. Its very family oriented the place we got and the interior was pleasing. Surroundings were breathtaking and conveniently close to the bus stop and port to take the boat. The castle beside it was beautiful and the overall neighborhood was serene. It was also nearby a grocery store and some restaurants so that was really helpful when we didn’t want to go the extra mile for small necessities. We didn’t really meet the host besides conversing about how to access the keys but it was no problem at all. Our overall stay was very stress free! And we even loved the amount of board games available for us. I would book this place again next time I visit. I’d also just like to say thank you very much for having us!
