I can’t recommend it enough. The setting is beyond spectacular, well worth the extra drive from Funchal. The village is quaint and friendly, with a food market just up the street and beautiful trails nearby. The apartment is large, yet still cozy, and well maintained. And the hosts are wonderful. I can’t say enough about this apartment. It exceeded my expectations in every way. I’m hoping to be back as soon as possible.

Apartamentos Turisticos Avenue Park is een accommodatie met eigen kookgelegenheid in Funchal, die op nog geen kilometer afstand van diverse winkels en restaurants ligt. Absolutely great receptionist, he helped us with everything we needed and was very friendly. The room was for a great price and very near to the centre. I don't believe there is anything with better value in Funchal.

Apartments Madeira Old Town ligt in Funchal, op 5 minuten lopen van het strand en de historische binnenstad van Funchal. From start to finish everything was perfect. We had their driver pick us up at the airport and he was great. Our flight was delayed and the driver kept excellent communication with us, as well as the apartment. The apartment was great, clean, comfortable and great location. Restaurants and cafes easy walking distance. Communication with the apartment was excellent, any questions asked I received prompt responses. We loved our stay and will be back. I highly recommend this apartment.

Superb location, spacious, clean - it was the top floor apartment split in two levels - 65 steps to climb to get to the bedrooms, but worth every step for a fantastic view of Funchal.

Vila Marta ligt in São Martinho, op 10 minuten rijden van Funchal. Het biedt accommodatie met een eigen terras en uitzicht op de Atlantische Oceaan en bananenplantages. Super vriendelijk personeel, altijd berijd om te helpen! Voor we zelfs vertrokken waren stuurde hij verschillende info door zoals waar je best een auto huurt, wat je kan verwachten,... . Voor ons vertrek stuurde hij een bericht om te vragen of we een taxi nodig hadden, wij kwamen aan aan de luchthaven en de taxi was reeds op ons aan het wachten, top service! We werden direct verwelkomd door de host, hij gaf ons info over o.a. de bussen, cultuur, activiteiten,... . Vila Marta is een dikke aanrader!!

Het Suite Hotel Eden Mar - Porto Bay ligt in tropische tuinen met uitzicht op de Atlantische Oceaan en beschikt over een buitenzwembad in lagunestijl. centrale ligging, toch verassend rustig. In de kamer hoor je niks van straatgeluid. Zeer verzorgd allemaal (net zoals het gehele eiland). Voldoende keuze in ontbijt. schitterend zwembad. Lekker eten in diverse restaurantjes in het resort. behulpzaam personeel! TOP

Pestana Casino Studios ligt op 700 meter van het centrum van Funchal en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad en een terras. Er is gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. I really liked the hotel. Great location, everything is perfectly clean, beautiful room design. But special thanks to the hotel staff, everyone is very friendly and always ready to help. We were greeted with a smile every day, they were ready to help and advise on any issue. The hotel has a small swimming pool. The room has a small kitchen, it is possible to make tea or heat food, it is very convenient. Excellent noise insulation, cozy balconies with incredible views. There is an opportunity to use all the advantages of a large hotel of this chain located nearby. There is a luxurious park, a casino, beautiful swimming pools, and live music every evening. This hotel exceeded our expectations and left only good impressions, primarily thanks to the hotel staff. An additional advantage was the ability to pay for the hotel after the arrival (not all hotels in Madeira accept this way), since we are from Ukraine and for reasons known to everyone, we did not have the opportunity to transfer funds for the trip beforehand, and we were not sure that we would be able to travel, so the ability to cancel the reservation it has been important for us .Thank you.
