Conveniently set in Faro, Roots Hotel provides a continental breakfast and free WiFi. Private parking is available on site. I think this is one of the best budget hotels I've stayed at. Well-equipped studio kitchen, cozy bedroom, large balcony. Everything is very clean and new. The hotel is located next to the old town and has underground parking with an electric charging station. There is even a swimming pool, unfortunately the weather did not allow us to enjoy it. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful and speak excellent English.

Vila Luz offers self-contained accommodation overlooking the Atlantic Ocean from a cliff among landscaped gardens. Breakfast - I liked the fact that they offer several types of fruit and warm bread. Balcony - The size and view from the balcony was beautiful

Cardeal Suites & Apartments features accommodation situated 400 metres from the centre of Faro and offers a garden and a terrace. Spotlessly clean (Thank you Rosangela who does an amazing job!) with lovely furnishings. A really secure complex that felt out of the main town but was only a short walk away with easy access to the train station, bus station and boat rides.

Boasting sea views, VIVENDA JOHANNA features accommodation with balcony, around 1.3 km from Praia do Canavial. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The location was exceptional and the grounds were beautiful. It was elegantly understated and felt like you were stepping back in time, which is refreshing.
