The room and property were as advertised. The establishment is mostly family operated. They're very warm and helpful people and make you feel at home. Breakfast was very good as well. They open the restaurant for dinner from 7 to 10 pm but we didn't have the chance to give it a try; we'd always come back late. The ride from Fira is 20-25 min by car depending on the time of the day. We chose this location because it's away from the noise and crowds of Fira and Oia. We had a view of the caldera from our balcony. Free parking. Would definitely stay again at this property.

In Akrotiri, next to the Venetian Castle and very close to the prehistoric settlement, lies Thira's Dolphin. The traditional settlement is situated only 1 kilometre from the famous Red Beach.
