I’m a clean freak to the max and it takes a lot for me to not feel squeamish in hotels. Here, I felt completely comfortable. The apartment was new, big and comfortable. The indoor pool was fantastic for my young daughter. Being a residents building for older people, it was very quiet. Easy for self catering from the nearby supermarket or Wazemmes market, and just a few minutes walk from the Metro to get into Lille old town quickly. The staff were very sweet and tried to help us whenever needed, despite our poor French.

The apartment I was in was great. It has a view to the back of the building, so it was quiet, although the hotel is located in the heart of downtown between both train stations Lille Europe and Lille Flandres. It’s close to every store and restaurants. Carrefour is next door, which makes it convenient if you prefer to cook your meals in the kitchenette.
