Every amenity, the food, the staff, the environment…all simply perfect. I could not have asked for more. You cannot go wrong with Simbambili. And the massage was definitely one of the best I have ever had.

This was our final stop in a 10 day trip around Kruger and the greater Kruger area and it was the absolute cherry on top of an amazing exploration. The location on the river is amazing and a dip in the pool looking out at passing wildlife is a true delight. What set this stay apart however was the game drives and our incredible guide Shannon. We were fortunate enough to be able.to see both wild dogs and in our final morning game drive two leopard cubs/eight months old. Shannon is one of the most knowledgeable and professional guides we have encountered in our travels around the world. Her capacity to find wildlife is remarkable and at the same time the respect she has for conservation.meant that we were able to see these rare creatures but without causing them stress. I would go back again in a heart beat and only wish we had been able to spend more time. Bed and room was comfortable. Food was plentiful and delicious.

The location is right next to Kruger National Park. Staff were acutely aware of attention to detail and made an exceptional effort to go the extra mile. The rooms were amazingly comfortable. The camp is surround by bush and you could hear animals near by. We loved sitting around the fire place in the evenings and the food was exceptional. Our game drives were lead by Silvester and he was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure we got to see 4 of the big 5 in just one day in the park.

Very well tended camp in the bush, close to Kruger and several other game reserves. Owner Bhili and staff are very friendly, lovely people. Lloyd cooks delicious breakfast and dinner and is a thoughtfull host. The camp is solar powered so there is no problem with load shedding. Dinner is served in a traditional boma with a fire in the middle. Bhili is a great storyteller and also a very experienced guide with extensive knowledge about animals, birds and plants. The gamedrives where spectacular! The beds are very comfortable, the tents and common areas are very clean and well maintained. Remember you are in the bush in the middle of nature, keep your tent closed or you may have roommates with four or more legs!
