Quinta do Paço Hotel is an amazing place for a relaxing weekend. The staff is extremely friendly and always interested in helping, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the restaurant seems great (did not have the opportunity to try it). I definitely want to go back!

Casa Da Quinta De S. Martinho is a typical, rustic house of the Trás os Montes countryside. It offers free Wi-fi, a garden pool, and is 200 metres from Mateus Palace. The house is so pleasant, we felt like staying at our parents' home. The host is welcoming and supports your stay as much as needed but without excessive attention - ideal! The room was spacious, tidy, silent, and calm. The beds were comfortable, and we slept like logs. The breakfast was somewhat unpretentious, but the fruits were from the host's garden - a pleasant surprise. As a nice bonus, the three sweetest dogs lived at the house. Our kid was afraid of dogs before our stay. But she fell in love with these three by the second day of our stay.

Miracorgo is situated in Vila Real’s historic centre and offers a panoramic restaurant with views of the Corgo River. Our Standard double room with small balcony & breakfast was great, we had a spectacular view of the Rio Corgo Gorge which was enhanced at night by floodlights. Our room came with breakfast, a comfortable bed, air conditioning, shower over the bath, TV, wardrobes and a small fridge. The balcony was large enough for us both to sit outside and enjoy an afternoon beverage. The hotel has 2 indoor pools the larger being 16 metres long, a very well equipped modern gym and outdoor sun leaners on the terrace and by the pool. The staff were great, very accommodating to our needs and friendly. We based ourselves here to visit the Douro Valley (no car) and being an easy 900 metre walk to the bus station to get to Regua, the valley and the MiraDouro Train made that easy. Great location.
